University of Melbourne
The University of Melbourne is a public university located in Melbourne, Victoria. Founded in 1853, it is the second oldest university in Australia and the oldest in Victoria. The main campus is located in Parkville, an inner suburb just north of the Melbourne CBD and is an integral part of the cultural life of the city of Melbourne.. The university also has several other campuses located across Victoria. It is a member of Australia’s “Group of Eight” lobby group, the Universitas 21 and Association of Pacific Rim Universities networks.
The university of Melbourne has over 47,000 students, who are supported by nearly 6,500 staff members in 19 faculties and Graduate Schools. There are more than 11,800 international students from over 120 countries
