University of Hull

Beside the sea, on a hill overlooking the beautiful town of Scarborough, with the moors to the north and rugged coastline to the east. The Scarborough Campus of the University of Hull provides an inspirational environment for learning.
Our degrees span a range of disciplines in the arts, humanities, education, business, science and technology. With around 1600 students, the Scarborough Campus is distinguished by an exceptional supportive learning culture, combining the University’s traditional academic values with an intimate educational experience that is rarely possible in the modern university sector. Staff get to know students quickly, and students soon build their own support networks in their subject areas and beyond.
The Scarborough campus has modern resources including the latest recording technology, state-of-the-art digital media facilities and excellent performance studios. The campus is wireless so you can access email and other online sources anywhere – including from the recently refurbished cafe bar, the dining hall, the library or even during classes. The one thing that we’re more proud of than these facilities is our accessible, supportive staff.
Once you’ve sampled the atmosphere that helps make ‘the Scarborough experience’ so enjoyable, you’ll totally understand why our graduates often become life long friends, staying in touch after finishing their studies.
To get a true feel for the campus, you can either visit us on an open day, or visit our video microsite. Here you’ll be able to see staff and students from the different subject areas living ‘the Scarborough experience’.
